COLUMBINE CHJA FALL -
9/17/05
What a fun and cool show! This was Hannah and Jewel's first show as well as Gracie's.
Michaela and Susan brought their ponies as well. We only showed on Saturday so we decided to do the puddle jumpers
and schooling hunters - all of us! Hannah overcame some bad luck during schooling and had a really great
turnout with 6 consistent and well done rounds! The ponies were great, they didn't like one of the jumper jumps,
but the girls rode outstanding and managed them very well. I think everyone really had fun doing jumpers for the
first time and look forward to doing it again - but next time - we go for time! I was tickled pink over Gracie's
performance. She didn't ever look at anything and marched around like a champ at whatever I pointed her to. Everyone
went home with some well earned ribbons. The puddle jumper division was very large and the schooling hunters had
about 15-18ish. At this show we also broke the record for best horse show length. We started at 8am and were all
done by 10am! Amazing. Thankfully for Elizabeth, who was starting to turn green, so she could get home
to bed!
