MERIDIAN SUMMER's END - 08/23/07

Came back for another round this year since last year was so fun! Today we had PERFECT weather:) It couldn't have been any better. Brought Hammie, Yankee, and Shane. This year they ran the show in 2 arenas. The outdoor arena didn't start til several hours into the day b/c it had rained the day before. So in the morning we just schooled inside. Hammie schooled well but didn't jump much b/c the jumps were set high. Jean and Michaela schooled well. Jean showed jumpers for the first time and was AWESOME! She got a 2nd in one of her classes she was so good - and the classes were HUGE! Way to go Jean!! Michaela and McKenna both showed Yankee and brought home great ribbons. Michaela was Reserve Eq Champion! Hammie schooled outside when the arena opened but we decided not to show him. So he just tagged along for the ride! Jean was also very generous and let Michaela show Shane in some of the jumpers. We didn't wait around for ribbons b/c it was getting so late, but they were both TERRIFIC!
