PRAIRIE SPRINGS FARM - 08/20/05

Brought a large crew on what started out to be a beautiful day. Lauren, Jake, Mia, McKenna, Hannah, Susan, Katie, and Michaela. All
of the horses schooled beautifully in the am. Lauren got us off to a great start winning the first 2 classes! Jake, Mia and McKenna all
put in consistent showings and brought home wonderful ribbons. Then, the rain came.... and it never stopped! Class 11 abruptly came to
an end after all of our kids finished their rounds, with a downpour of rain and hail! Fortunately, all the horses were either loaded or in the
indoor arena before it got bad. It was SOOOO LOUD in the indoor with sheets of hail coming down on that metal roof! It seemed like
an hour had passed before if even quieted down. Then we quickly loaded up and hustled home.

Unfortunately, Hannah, Susan, Katie and Michaela did not have an opportunity to show this day:( But they were great sports and took
it all in stride. And to top it off right, it was Hannah's 14th Birthday! HAPPY BIRTHDAY HANNAH! So we returned home to have
pizza and cake in celebration of her big day! What a great way to end the day!
